Sanguine and charismatic like Aldo himself, Moretto is a natural red wine of rare personality and plain deliciousness. It’s a blend of Nerello Mascalese, Perricone, Syrah from vines farmed beyond organics, which are wildly fermented separately with different skin contact according to grape and the vintage, they are then blended to age part in steel and part in large barrels. The wine is bottled unfined, unfiltered and with no added SO2. Fresh, sapid and rambunctious: crunchy Sicilian mulberries, spiced black currants, nutmeg and rhubarb confit.
