LA GHIANDAIA 2015
La Ghiandaia, meaning “Blue Jay” in Italian, is a joyously vital and crazily gastronomic red natural wine from the deepest and truest heart of Chianti. It’s a traditional blend of 70% Sangiovese and 30% Canaiolo from biodynamic vines which ferments spontaneously and ages partially in steel and partially in cement. Freshness dances with and teases a slight spiciness and bright yet delicate tannins: aromatic forest floor, fresh red currants, pickled plums with thyme and blood orange.
