The 2007 vintage was warm, generous, and dry, allowing the aromatic power of Sauvignon Blanc to fuse seamlessly with the broad, golden texture of Chardonnay. After nearly two decades of bottle aging, this vintage has reached a breathtaking plateau of tertiary grace.

The Visual: A stunning, deep burnt-orange to dark topaz amber with radiant bronze highlights. Dense, cloudy, and thick in the glass, holding the weight of its long maceration.

The Nose: Smoldering, complex, and overwhelmingly evocative. Waves of dried orange peel, apricot liqueur, candied ginger, and dried persimmon merge into notes of wild honey, pine resin, beeswax, pipe tobacco, and a signature, high-toned volcanic minerality.

The Palate: A masterclass in skin-contact power. The three-month maceration yields a firm, tea-like, velvety tannic architecture that grips the tongue without feeling coarse. Flavors of salt-cured citrus, dried stone fruits, toasted hazelnuts, and savory umami rush across the palate, driven home by a long, mouthwatering wave of ponca-driven minerality and electric acidity.
