OSLAVJE FUORI DAL TEMPO 2006

The 2006 vintage in Collio provided a warm, deeply expressive growing season that allowed Sauvignon Blanc to shed its grassy youth and transform into something profound and monumental. After two decades of evolution, the Fuori dal Tempo 2006 represents the pinnacle of what skin-contact white wine can achieve.

The Visual: A stunning, deep burnished copper-amber with warm topaz and mahogany glints. Unfined and unfiltered, shimmering with a dense, luminous haze.

The Nose: Mind-bending, layered, and endlessly shifting. Dried yellow peaches, candied kumquat, and baked quince mix with exotic notes of beeswax, saffron, dried chamomile, crushed flint, pine resin, and a subtle whisper of petrol-like minerality.

The Palate: A masterclass in weightless power. The decades have woven the extensive skin tannins into a seamless, velvety texture that caresses the mouth. Flavors of salt-cured citrus, dried apricot, honeyed propolis, and deep savory umami surge across the tongue, anchored by an indestructible, electric spine of ponca-driven mountain acidity.

Very few zero-sulfur Sauvignon Blancs in human history could survive, let alone thrive, for two decades. Fuori dal Tempo proves that Stanko Radikon was operating on a completely different plane of existence. It is an intellectual, soul-shaking monument of a wine that completely redefines the boundaries of grape, terroir, and time.

Best enjoyed: Cellar temperature (14–16°C / 57–60°F). Pour into a large, wide glass and give it ample time to breathe—this is a living history lesson that will continue to evolve over an entire evening.
