XL XAREL-LO 2017
This joyously alive white Ancestrale petnat natural wine from Catalunya’s Partida Creus is obtained from 100% Xarel-lo, one of Spain’s most ancient varieties, from old vines on clay-limestone soils farmed organically. After spontaneous fermentation begins it is bottled with no fining, filtration or added SO2 and residual sugar so that the process continues in the bottle for about 10 months, therefore creating luminous and fine bubbles. White Japanese peaches with thyme and passiflora, pandan leaf and lime zest with brioche crust.
