ALEA JACTA EST
This astoundingly profound expression of Lazio’s most typical red grape Aleatico, and in an incredibly rare vintage, hails from a single 40 years old cru on dark volcanic soils called Vigna Le Coste. The organic grapes see a whole bunch carbonic maceration in cement for 2 months and, after being pressed, continue to ferment for a few weeks. They than age for 2 years in old wood. Buoyant, crunchy, fresh and aromatic, it sparkles with wild peppermint and gooseberries, dark musk and forest floor, sour apples and black currants.
