PAINO
Paino, in this most bountiful and intriguing of vintages, is a true leviathan of an orange wine, massively deep and powerful yet esoterically refined. It comes from 100% Procanico from vines of different ages, ranging from 20 to 50 years old, and is the result of a painstaking selection of the most concentrated bunches (maximum 3 per vine!!!). It ferments wildly in French tronco conical vats and sees 3 weeks of skin contact. Smoked pumpkin with Tibetan incense, ripe medlar fruit with red massamam curry, fresh papaya roasted on an open fire, lemongrass and saffron honey.
