LA ROUMANIE TOUT COURT
This is truly a feral, unforgiving yet sublimely delicious and expressive red natural wine from young legend Anthony Tortul. Coming from old vines of typical Languedoc Roussillon grapes Cinsault, Grenache and Alicante, all biodynamically farmed on terraced soil of clay-limestone, it’s wildly fermented in whole bunches with the stems for varying lengths of time, depending on the variety and up to 3 months. Of course it sees no intrusive and demeaning fining, filtration or added SO2. Aged tobacco, fresh mulberries with cloves, ancient forest humus and iron and mineral tones.
