Hailing from the Hautes Côtes de Nuits, in Bourgogne’s famed Côte d’Or, this is another Pinot Noir masterpiece from untamable genius and artisan Yann Durieux. Hailing from selected parcels of old vines on clay-limestone soils farmed biodynamically, it sees only natural vinification with wild fermentation and no fining, filtration or added SO2. Sharp as a crimson blade and unspeakably alive: balsamic old cellar winds, bramble and dried mulberry with absinth, truffle and black currants.
