CAMIGLIANO NERO DEL GOBBO 2016

 

This beautiful red natural wine from Tuscany’s verdant Lucca hills is a blend of Sangiovese 80%, Syrah 10% and Merlot 10%, all farmed biodynamically and some from 50 years old vines. While 90% of the mass ferments in steel to preserve freshness and acidity, the remainder does so in wood, which adds a beautifully lush softer note. Vibrantly alive and luminous, it sings of red currants, crushed violet petals and spicy black and pink pepper.
