ALITER
This biodynamic Tuscan red natural wine is a bright and delightful mirror of its terroir in Scandicci, not far from Florence. It revives lost traditions as it’s a blend of ancient clones of Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Malvasia Nera, co-fermented with their native yeasts for about 20 days with frequent “remouage”, then 6 months of “batonnage sur lies” and elevage in large wood. Fresh and balsamic, vibrant with a terse minerality and rich flavours of wild mulberries, black cherries, spices and dried hibiscus petals.
