Michele Lorenzetti’s Pinot Noir is born out of the breathtaking Gattaia vineyard, which he planted in 2009, perched on Tuscany’s Mugello hills at nearly 700m of altitude and surrounded by untouched woods. Michele’s interpretation is one where rigorous biodynamic viticulture meets a focused and inspired vision, regaling us with a red natural wine of unparalleled depth and dynamism. It ferments spontaneously in cement with no temperature control with 80% of the mass with the stems, it then ages at least one year in tonneaux, one in cement and no less than another one in the bottle. Unendingly complex and no less than titanic in its elegance: crushed arctic berries with smoked tamarind, autumn leaves, elderflower and spiced black cherries.
