LA MALENA 2017
La Malena is a stunningly rich and vibrant Tuscan blend of Syrah and Ciliegiolo grown organically on clay-sandy soils and it’s a triumphant expression of the Colli Senesi hills of Chianti. It ferments spontaneously in cement and ages at least 1 year in used barrels before being bottled with no fining or filtration. It amazes with wild marasca cherries with dried red tobacco, exotic spices and liquorice, black plums and Oolong tea.
