SINE FELLE BIANCO
This brightly focused and deeply evocative natural orange wine (slight maceration here) comes from Podere Casaccia’s biodynamic oasis near Florence and is Tuscan through and through and speaks of unadulterated terroir and tradition, seeing a blend of Malvasia, Trebbiano and Vermentino picked at perfect maturity and co-fermented during wild fermentation. Skin contact is of 6 days and there is no fining, filtration or added SO2 to speak of. It’s electrically tense, airy and taut yet of assertive structure, with notes of acacia honey, wild Mediterranean herbs, persimmon and lemon zest.
