SERRAGGHIA RISERVA GENEVIEVE 2014
Named after Gabrio’s wife, this uniquely mesmerizing wine comes from younger wines of Zibibbo planted on ideally paradigmatic volcanic soils. The ancient aromatic Zibibbo grape is vinified dry with spontaneous fermentation and elevage in amphora for no less than 7 months. The 2014 vintage was an extremely difficult one, with a tiny production but of transcendent quality and soul. Grilled honeysuckle with pink grapefruit peel, bitter almond and lavender compote, olive oil sherbet and persimmon.
