PINOT GRIGIO 2016
In a land most well-know for reds, with an often mistreated variety and in a difficult and unusually hot vintage, the boys from Voltumna manage to give light to a beautiful and luminous natural white. This Pinot Grigio from a young biodynamic vineyard sees wild fermentation and elevage in steel and a shorter skin contact than other vintages. A shimmering pink-copper hue in the glass, it marries ripe fruit and refreshing acidity: Turkish delight, rosehip and clementine peel with light turmeric and caramelised apples.
