This funkily energetic and absolutely elegant natural Pinot Noir is another gem from Auvergne’s Vincent and Marie Tricot. It comes from a tiny plot of 40 years old vines on clay-limestone and volcanic soils, which have always been farmed naturally and more recently biodynamically. Natural fermentation takes place with carbonic maceration, which helps to emphasize freshness and electric fruit, the wine is then bottled with no fining, filtration or added SO2. Focus red forest fruits with balsamic overtones and herbal freshness, apple berry with dried figs and puh er tea.
