MARIE ET VINCENT TRICOT VIGNERONS

Husband and wife natural wine dream team Vincent and Marie Tricot have a long history of magnificent work in Beaujolais in the 1990’s, where they absorbed the influence and wisdom of natural wine movement legends Marcel Lapierre’s and Jules Chauvet among others. In the early 2000’s they decided to carve their own path and follow their dream by moving to Auvergne, in the village of Orcet, also because they had learned that this was the area with the most pre-phylloxera vines in France. They started with less than 5 hectares of old parcels and have added another 6 over the years, planted mostly with Pinot Noir, Gamay and Muscat. All work is strictly natural of course in the vineyard and cellar, with no added SO2 at any stage. These are wines of elegant and flamboyant energy and sincere conviviality.
