Despite the young age, Yann Durieux has already become a legendary vigneron both in Bourgogne and fine wine circles and the natural wine scene all over the globe. After spending over 10 years working at the legendary Domaine Prieure Roch, he founded Recrue Des Sens purchasing a tiny 2,5 hectares plote in the lesser known Hautes Côtes de Nuits, well within the famed Côte d’Or. In his years at DPR he learned to stare into the soul of classical Bourgogne varieties Chardonnay, Aligote and Pinot Noir and to vinify them naturally with the utmost love and respect. In his quest for sublimating the very spirit of terroir and through maniacal perfectionis and perseverance he has created wines of sublime depth, focus and astounding energy.
