CHABLIS BEL AIR ET CLARDY 2018
Born out of the union of two different climats, which were the very first of the estate, this is pure, unadulterated Norther Bourgogne glory and Chablis majestic finesse. The Chardonnay grapes hail from old vines organically grown on ancient rocky clay-limestone soils which, in these Northern terroir, shape Chardonnay into a particularly elegant heavenly creature. Fermentation takes place naturally with native yeasts in used barrels, followed by an elevage of no less than 12 months. A zen-like streamlined simplicity is intertwined with an almost infinite depth: toasted bitter almonds with cloves honey, sage and buttered pears and wild tarragon and lavender.
