ALICE and OLIVIER DE MOOR

Alice and Olivier de Moor, veritable legends of sustainable farming in Bourgogne and beyond and peaceful true warriors for the natural wine cause, have been always working their land naturally and obtained the organic certification for the Domaine in 2005. The 7 hectares are located just south of Chablis, within the denominations of Chablis, Saint-Bris and Bourgogne Aligoté, and are planted with the traditional varieties of Aligotè, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Vines are farmed with loving respect and some of them date back to 1902, while work in the cellar is imprinted by an enlightened zen-simplicity, so as to let the wines and the grapes and terroir they are born from speak for themselves.
