Fleurie “Clos de la Grand’Cour” is the crown jewel of Jean-Louis Dutraive — his home turf, his heartbeat, his most personal wine.
It comes from a single, walled vineyard right next to the domaine, planted with old Gamay vines on pure granite. Farmed organically, harvested by hand, and vinified with native yeasts, gentle extraction, and almost no sulfur — because Dutraive doesn’t believe in fixing what nature already nailed.
In the glass, it’s Fleurie at full volume: juicy red cherries, wild strawberries, violets, a hint of spice, all wrapped in a silky texture with serious energy underneath. It’s elegant, yes, but also deep, structured, and built to age — if you can resist drinking it young.
