Another Jura natural wine gem from legendary Arbois vigneron Raphael Monnier, who, after 20 years in the wine business and as a passionate drinker, started his own tiny domain with his wife in 2009. This is 100% Poulsard from a tiny organic parcel, fermented wildly in old barrels and bottled pure, with no fining or filtration. It’s characterised by a pleasantly spicy nose of crushed violet petals, dried bergamot and mixed peppercorns, paving the way for a juicy palate of smoked black cherries and balsamic herbs.
