MACEA PINOT NERO
One of the few Italian terroirs where Pinot Nero shines of a unique and deeply territorial character is the Lucca hills, where Cipriano moulds this notoriously most difficult and fragile of varieties into a shining crimson beacon of Pinot Noir. Coming from elder vines that see only biodynamic treatments, if sees wild fermentation in steel and is aged in used barrels. Taut, exquisitely focused and magnificently dynamic: Autumn leaves on black mulberries, cloves and smoked rhubarb.
