U.V.A. stands, as indicated on the label, for “United Vineyards of Ampia Kussorgia”, indicating the local name in Sardinian dialect for the area where the vineyards are located. This explosively juicy, shining and vibrant daily natural red from Sardinian natural wine prophet Gianfranco Manca is a field blend of a huge range of local varieties from old rented vineyards, blended with some of the grapes from his younger vines. Juicy acidity, electric spiciness and unmistakable character: myrtle liquor with arbutum berries, Mediterranean herbs, rhubarb and rosemary.
