TINO ROSA 2015
Gianfranco’s Tino Rosa is a stunningly profound and expressive natural rosè born out of one of the most tragic vintages ever in Sardinia, 2015, when successive rains and hailstorms decimated the harvest. Gianfranco then proceeded to harvest, both from his biodynamic vineyards and those of like-minded colleagues and neighbors, the surviving grapes, mostly Vermentino with some Cagnulari and Cannonau. It sees of course only natural fermentation, no fining, filtration or added SO2. Bright red currants with smoked watermelon, fresh tarragon and ripe black plums and balsamic currents.
