SIN RUMBO 2016
Sin Rumbo is an astoundingly complex yet electrically drinkable Spanish natural white from 100% Verdejo coming from vines planted in 1872 (you read right, eighteenseventytwo!!!) in Nieva on poor soils of mostly sand, gravel and silica at 910 m of elevation. After cold maceration of 3-4 hours the grapes are vertically pressed to go for an hyper-oxidative feel, they then ferment quite slowly at higher temperature. Of course no fining, filtration or added SO2. Enlivened and uplifted by a slight touch of volatile, it bursts with aromas of pomelo rind, white nectarine, barley and saffron.
