ROSSO ANFORA
Easily the king of Abruzzo’s grapes, Montepulciano’s very soul is here sublimated and imbued into this wonderfully complex yet scarily drinkable natural red. It’s 100% Montepulciano farmed with rigorous natural methods at high elevation, which, after being foot-pressed, sees wild fermentation in amphora for 7-12 days. It then ages in amphora for 10-12 months before going in the bottle with no added SO2. Black cherries macerated in Armagnac, nasturtium, incense, dates and rose hip.
