TROUSSEAU DES CORVES
Another deeply elegant and expressive natural red Jura from the Clairets, this is 100% Trousseau from the South-facing Lieu dit les corvées, whose vines are organically grown on heavy clay and marlstone soils dating back to the Jurassic. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in steel with a skin contact of about 10 days, followed by elevage in old barrels for at least 1 year. Nothing added or taken away, no added SO2. Sharp focus and generosity of fruit and depth are kings here: light vegetable and balsamic notes play hide and seek with ripe forest berries, liquorice and mediterranean herbs.
