This crazily young but astoundingly fresh and delicious light natural red wine is born out of organically farmed vines of Gamay and Pinot Noir in Northern Rhone’s Ardeche, where Daniel Sage works his magic. Grapes are direct-pressed with very light extraction, fermented with their wild yeasts and, after a short elevage in old wood, the wine is bottled with no humiliations such as fining, filtration or added SO2. Electricity, freshness and bouncing dynamics: fresh boysenberries with lime zest and Mezcal, wild forest strawberries and graphite notes.
