TIR A BLANC
This kaleidoscopically vibrant natural white from Roussillon legendary vigneron Alain Castex is a wild and hypnotizing blend of local varieties, all from astoundingly old vines on schiste, granite and gravel soils, of Carignan Blanc, Grenache Gris and Blanc, Macabeu, Bourboulenc, Malvoisie, Clairette and Muscat. It sees of course wild fermentation, in this case in steel, and no fining, filtration or added SO2. It draws aurora borealis and lightning paths of wild flowers, garrigue, pickled papaya with red curry, lemongrass and yellow plums with tarragon.
