BIANCHETTO 2018
This wildly exuberant yet laser-like focused daily orange wine is about 50% Procanico from young vines with the remainder made up of Malvasia, Moscato and other local varieties. The organically farmed grapes ferment spontaneously and see a skin contact of about 10 days before a few months’ aging in old woods. Hailing from a cooler vintage, it’s delicately herbaceous with valerian, mint and marigold, yet displays luminous and spicy fruit with preserved medlar fruit, dried mango with turmeric and nutmeg, smoked quince and dates.
