BIANCO FOLK 2018
This richly layered yet crazily drinkable natural orange wine is Indigeno’s only blend, with Trebbiano Toscano, Trebbiano Emiliano, Fiano, Passerina and Malvasia from a variety of different cru’s, some of which quite old and all farmed super-organically. They fermente with their wild yeasts in fiberglass with no temperature control and 8 days of skin contact, then are left to age for at least 8 months. Juicy, chewable and brightly dynamic: opens initially with fresh Yuzu juice, pink salt, lemongrass and stony tones, followed by delightful yellow plum with sourdough, cardamom and saffron. No added SO2 to be found of course!
