This natural Blanc de Blancs Champagne powerhouse is as majestic in its structure and depth as it is elegantly and tersely tense and mineral. Hailing from the village Buxières-sur-Arce in the Côte Des Bar, it is born out of the collaboration of natural Champagne legend Bertrand Gautherot of Vouette & Sorbée and his friend and partner Benoit Doussot. Work is rigorously natural in the vineyard, with the organic certification to attest it, as well as in the cellar, where natural fermentations are joined by neutral wood, no fining or filtration and no dosage. This 100% Chardonnay from a West-facing parcel on Kimmeridgian soils elegantly deflagrates with Amalfi lemon confit with thyme and honeysuckle, freshly baked scones and pomelo zest.
