Orange Wines, or Amber wines as they are called in Georgia (their place of origin) are wines obtained from white grapes macerated with the skins during fermentation, for a period of time that can last from 1-2 days up to months or years.

The contact with the skin gives an aromatic range and a complexity that cannot be found in other wines.
